On Feb. 3, in Halong city, Secretary of the Provincial Party's Committee Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with Mr. Sato Mitsugu, Chairman of Japan's Wanokai International Culture Association to discuss about the organization of Halong Sakura festival 2015.
Speaking at the meeting, secretary Pham Minh Chinh stressed that the Sakura festival has become one of the most attractive tourism products of Quang Ninh. it helps enhance the cooperation tie between Vietnam and Japan in general and Quang Ninh and Japan in particular.
For his part, Mr. Sato Mitsugu exchanged some of the issues related to the Halong Sakura Festival 2015. Accordingly, this year's Sakura Festival will be held with the theme " peace-cooperation and development". There will be a wide range of workshops on healthcare, environment and education. Additionally, Sato Mitsugu hoped that the annual Sakura Festival would be an good occasion for the both Quang Ninh and Japan to tighten the friendship and cooperation in many other areas.
