Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Pham Minh Chinh had a courtesy meeting on Mar. 25 with a delegation of Wanokai International Cultural Association led its Chairman - Mr. Mitugu Sato regarding the Sakura festival 2014 to be held in Ha Long city.
At the meeting, Mr. Mitugu Sato said that Japan will collaborate with Ha Long City People's Committee to organize the Sakura Festival 2014. 400 Sakura branches and 20 trees will be displayed in the festival. In addition to goods booths introducing special products; gastronomy, souvenirs of both Japan and Quang Ninh, the festival will drew the participation of around 20 Japanese promotion agencies and well-known artists.
For his part, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the Wanokai International Cultural Association's cooperation with Quang Ninh in organizing the Sakura festival. He stressed that the festival will introduce Quang Ninh's people and potentials to Japan, contributing to the mutual development and attracting investment from Japan into the province.
