Secretary Pham Minh Chinh receives international guests

On March, 20, in Ha Long city, in the framework of the International Conference on developing special economic zone-Experience and Opportunities, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with international delegations.

Working with the delegation led by Mrs. Laura Stone, the U.S's Trade Conselor in Viet Nam,  Secretary Pham Minh Chinh thanked the U.S for its concerns and willingness to establish a consortium to protect Ha Long Bay. He stressed that Ha Long Bay is a world natural  heritage, thus Quang Ninh always attaches its attention and concern  to the environmental protection.

On this occasion, Chinh recommended that Mrs. Laura Stone would introduce the potential investors and strategic partners to invest in  the projects of building casino and telecommunication center in Van Don.

The meeting was then followed by a courtesy  reception with Mr. Andrew Grant, Director of Mc Kinsey's Singapore Office.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh invited the company to draw master plan for the socio-economic development of Van Don economic zone.

Mr. Andrew Grant committed to send the best experts to Quang Ninh to conduct plans, at the same time introduce leading investors to the province.
