Saigontourist to greet 30 international cruise ships in February

The Saigon Travel and Service Company (Saigontourist) is expected to receive and provide services for 30 international luxury cruise ships bringing thousands of tourists to Vietnam in February.

Specifically, on February 11, the company, in association with the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organised a programme to welcome the first maritime tourists to the province in 2014. Accordingly, the programme is providing services for more than 3,000 tourists from the US, Canada, the UK and Australia on luxury cruise ship Celebrity Millennium following the Vung Tau – Hue – Ha Long route from February 9-13.

Together with the Celebrity Millennium undertaking two trans-Vietnam routes of Vung Tau – Hue – Ha Long (February 9-13) and Ha Long – Hue – Vung Tau (February 19-24), Saigontourist will serve additional luxury cruise ships in this month.

Marina of the Sea will carry 500 tourists from the US, the UK and Australia to Vung Tau on February 20.

About 750 tourists on Europa II will visit Vietnam under the Ha Long route (February 17) and the Hue – Da Nang – Nha Trang – HCMC – Phu Quoc route (February 18-24).

Azamara, with 750 tourists mainly from the US, will dock at HCMC, Da Nang and Ha Long from February 10 to 15.

Coasta Victoria will run four routes to Ha Long on February 8, 12, 21 and 28, and one route to Da Nang and Ha Long on February 3, with 2,400 tourists for each.

SuperStar Gemini will visit Vietnam with 12 consecutive routes to Ha Long and Da Nang, on February 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 27, with 1,200 tourists from China for each.

Henna will carry out eight routes to Ha Long and Da Nang, on February 1, 5, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23 and 27, with 1,100 tourists from China for each.
