On Dec. 10, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman Vu Van Dien received a senior delegation of Russian Anti-Corruption Agency, headed by its deputy head - Mr. Alexander Anikin.
At the meeting, Mr. Vu Van Dien briefted an overview of Quang Ninh province. He also said that a part from possible cooperation in social-economic developement between the two sides, Quang Ninh wishes to hear from the Russian counterpart about their experiences in inspection and anti-corruption, to which Vietnam's Party and Government in general and Quang Ninh in particular always attach importance.
Afirming that Vietnam and Russia have a special friendship, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman Vu Van Dien said that Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular are always grateful to the Russia's assistance during the nation's construction and protection of Vietnam.
In turn, Mr. Alexander Anikin thanked Quang Ninh leaders for their warm reception. He strongly affirmed the growth of cooperation tie between the two countries, and vowed that it will be further developed in the future.
