On June 24, the Quang Ninh Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) organized a conference to popularize the environmental protection law and launched “Joining hands to protect environment” campaign, in Mong Cai City.
At the conference, the environmental protection law and financial support methods were popularized to nearly 200 delegates from Tien Yen, Dam Ha, Hai Ha and Mong Cai, helping raise the awareness and responsibility organizations and individuals for the sake of the sustainable growth.
Founded in 2011, since then, the Quang Ninh EPF has contributed practically to supporting environmental protection projects. The fund has received deposits exceeding 1,200 bill VND by June, 2019. A loan can be taken out at interest rate of 3% to implement environmental protection tasks.
On the same day, the fund launched the campaign “Joining hands for environmental protection” at Tra Co beach, granted trash bin and organized clean-up activities.
