Quang Ninh tourism vibrantly resumes

One month since re-opening, Quang Ninh’s tourism has thrived to become a spotlight of the tourism in the North of Vietnam thanks to decisive measures and new products.

Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh mineral hot spring resort complex was put into operation in May, creating a landmark and attraction for Quang Ninh’s tourism after the pandemic. Along with that, a series of  new tourism products are also put into use, such as: Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road; two Tuan Chau five-star express boats connecting Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay and Co To Island. A variety of cultural, sports and tourism events have been organized in many localities, increasing the attraction and the excitement for Quang Ninh’s tourism.

A timely launched promotion campaign, enthusiastically responded by both government and business community, has provided a kick for local tourism. As a result, May the first month when the tourism was resumed, Quang Ninh received 350000 of tourist arrivals. The number of tourists increased drastically since May 14th as stimulus measures were implemented comprehensively. Quang Ninh tourism is getting more and more bustling, reaffirming its values as “green gold” in the direction of sustainable economic growth of the province.
