On Apr. 4, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman had a meeting with Mrs. Sunita Rajan, CNN's Vice President and Head of Advertising Sales for Asia-Pacific, regarding the cooperation between Quang Ninh province and CNN on promoting the image of Quang Ninh. Accordingly, Quang Ninh aims to promote its image to the world to effectively attract international tourists and investors to the province.
Specifically, Quang Ninh proposed CNN to produce films to promote Quang Ninh's tourism to broadcast on CNN's television and digital channels and CNN's Facebook and Twitter. It is scheduled that in 2017, both sides will sign a MoU; then work on scenario initiative, producing, appoving and completing relevant legal procedures. The first program will be broadcast on CNN in 2018.
For her part, Sunita Rajan-CNN's Head of Advertising Sales for Asia-Pacific emphasized that CNN have conducted a wide range of cooperation programs with Vietnam's localities and businesses. With its experiences, CNN will continue effectively coordinate with Quang Ninh's relevant departments to orient and consult the province to make sure the best quality of the advertisement program of Quang Ninh's image on CNN.
