Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc has directed the transfer of three public non-business units under the Quang Ninh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development into joint stock companies.
The three public non-business units are Fishery Hatchery Production and Science Technology Centre; Quang Ninh Forestry Design Survey Delegation and Agricultural Construction Project Quality Verification and Consultancy Center, with 50% of their charter capital or zero share owned by the State.
The units which can not be privatized will be dissolved.
The PM assigned the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee as the representative organ for state capital in the joint stock companies if there is still state capital.
He granted authority to Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee to approve privatization plans for the public non-business units and carry out relevant mission under current legal regulations.
