Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang called for greater efforts to achieve the GRDP growth target of 14 percent, significantly contributing to the national growth target and overall economic performance. This target surpasses the level assigned by the Prime Minister, exceeding the growth rate set in Resolution 31 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Resolution 237 of the Provincial People's Council by 2%.
The province's economic scale in 2025 is expected to reach approximately VND 395 trillion to achieve this 14% GRDP growth. This ambitious goal requires the utmost effort and determination from the entire political system, residents, and the business community.
One of the most important solutions is to accelerate investment activities and ensure the full mobilization of resources for development. Accordingly, efforts must focus on resolving, comprehensively and definitively, long-standing bottlenecks and obstacles, such as planning, land clearance, and land sources for leveling.
There is also a need for a swift review and adjustment of provincial regulations that are no longer suitable for current realities.
He emphasized that all ongoing public investment projects must accelerate construction progress and expedite disbursement from the very first days and months of the year. This is to ensure that projects are quickly put into operation, creating momentum for socio-economic development.
Additionally, he urged the prompt completion of investment procedures for projects that have already received investment approval and meet the conditions for immediate groundbreaking in 2025.
For non-budget investment projects, efforts will be focused on resolving procedural obstacles related to real estate investment projects. Special attention will be given to projects where investors have fully prepared the necessary conditions for immediate construction in 2025.
Regarding foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, efforts must focus on site clearance within the planned industrial zones, ensuring ready land availability to attract new investment projects, especially in anticipation of the ongoing strong investment shifts in the region. Investment projects in clean energy and renewable energy sectors should be of essential priority.
In field of service sector, the Provincial Party Secretary requested departments of culture, sports, and tourism coordinate with relevant units to organize major events to attract tourists and pay much attention to the development of new tourism products that generate high added value.
Along with achieving the growth target for 2025, the Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized the need to prepare conditions to ensure the province’s long-term growth objectives.
