On July 18, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long had a working session with President of HHCP Design International, Inc., (the U.S) Larry Ziebarth, who came to Quang Ninh to explore investment opportunity and propose idea of developing the Special Administrative and Economic Zone in Van Don.
At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Larry Ziebarth and his entourage to Quang Ninh. He made a brief introduction to the delegation about Quang Ninh's development plannings, as well as its determination of developing Van Don into one of the three special administrative and economic zones of Vietnam.
The Chairman stressed that Van Don Economic zone (EZ) is schemed to be a complex economic and hi-quality marine tourism zone. Thus, Quang Ninh has spent a great amount of financial resource to develop projects to connect the zone to other areas, namely: Hai Phong- Van Don highway; Van Don International Airport, and Van Don-Mong Cai expressway.
Having said that, Quang Ninh's Chairman hoped that the HHCP, Inc., with its experiences and success in planning and designing world famous projects, would support Quang Ninh in drawing planning and designing the coastal area of Van Don.
President of HHCP Design International, Inc. Larry Ziebarth sincerly thanked Quang Ninh's chairman for his cordial reception. He confirmed that the HHCP Design International, Inc., will continue their survey and evaluate all the aspects of the area to then present the best proposals to the province.
Larry Ziebarth also pledged that the HHCP Design International, Inc. is willing to support Quang Ninh in designing and developing Van Don into an attractive destination of Quang Ninh.
