Accordingly, in 2011, Quang Ninh province has achieved encouraging results in areas such as: the total revenues of the province reached 29,100 billion VND, the local budget expenditures about 12,199 billion VND, the total import-export turnover in the province reached 10.1% while the added industrial values down 12.9%, 92% of the urban population are provided clean water, 100% of medical wastes treated ...
The report also outlined a number of key socio-economic criteria with GDP up between 12.5 and 13%, the total import-export turnover up over 10 %, the total social investment capital in the province up 10%, CPI index down 10%, birth rate down 0.02%, the rate of malnourished children aged under five down 17%, the poverty rate down 1.2%; 26,500 local jobs created and 42 medical beds per ten thousand people ...
With the efforts by the departments, agencies, businesses and people in the province, confidently, in 2012, Quang Ninh will fulfill the targets set. /.
