Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Van Thang received Tsutomu Takebe, special advisor to the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance on Nov. 21 in Ha Long city.
At the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thang emphasized that in recent years, Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular always identified Japan as an important strategic partner. "Quang Ninh and Japan have had many effective cooperation projects in the fields of environment, education and tourism, etc", added the Chairman.
Having said that, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Van Thang hoped to continue receiving Japan's support in trade promotion and attracting Japanese enterprises' investment into Quang Ninh; strengthening cooperation in the fields of education; opening Quang Ninh - Japan air routes and vice versa; and deploying environmental protection projects, etc. He affirmed that Quang Ninh province would offer the best facilities to Japanese investors, who plan to implement their projects in the province.
Mr. Tsutomu Takebe, in turn, congratulated Quang Ninh on its outstanding socio-economic achievements in recent years. Focusing on the good relationship between Vietnam and Japan in general, between Qu ang Ninh and Japanese localities in particular, the advisor pledged to do all his best to promote the cooperation tie of the both sides.
TsutomuTakebe wished that the two sides' cooperation in fields would be further developed in the future, thereby contributing to promoting the extensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan in general, Quang Ninh and Japanese businesses and localities in particular.
