On July 24, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long visited and presented gifts to the families of the wounded and fallen soldiers in Dong Trieu town on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers' Day (July 27, 1947 – 2017).
Visiting and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, families of revolutionary contributors, the province's leader extended his deep gratitude to martyrs, invalids and their families for their great contributions and precious sacrifice in the struggle to defend the country’s independence.
He wished Vietnamese heroic mothers, invalids and their families good health and continue revolutionary tradition of their families to be good examples for the young generations to follow, contributing to the development of Quang Ninh province in general and the Dong Trieu town in particular.
The Chairman also asked Dong Trieu Town People's Committee to continue to pay much concerns and taking care of the martyrs and invalids' families.
