In Ha Long city, on June. 8, in the framework of the 12th ASEAN-China senior officials’ meeting, a delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China led by Deputy Minister Liu Zhenmin had a meeting with the Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long.
At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long affirmed strong relationship between Guangxi (China) and Quang Ninh (Vietnam). Accordingly, the two sides implemented many diplomatic and economic cooperation programs, and cultural exchanges contributing to the solidarity and cooperation in various areas between Vietnam and China in general, and Guangxi and Quang Ninh in particular.
Quang Ninh's Chairman wished that the two Governments and Ministries of Foreign Affairs would continue their strong support to speed up the upgrading of international border gates for further development of trade and strengthening the diplomatic tie between Vietnam and China.
For his part, Deputy Minister Liu Zhenmin affirmed that Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China will undertake effective actions to enhance the relationship between localities of China and Vietnam. He also wished that the two sides would continue to further improve infrastructure, building transborder cooperation zone, properly managing border gates and supporting the both sides in developing border trade economy.
