On May 15, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with a delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on preparatory works for hosting some sports at the 31st Sea Games competition 2021 in Quang Ninh. Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau received and worked with the delegation.
Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to submit to the Prime Minister for allowing Quang Ninh to host 5 sports including indoor volleyball to be held at the 5,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Dai Yen ward, Ha Long city; beach volleyball, beach handball at Tuan Chau Beach Resort Co., Ltd. in Tuan Chau ward, Ha Long city; women's football at Cam Pha stadium in Cam Pha City; chess at Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center in Ha Long city.
Speaking at the working session, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau emphasized that Quang Ninh province would the best conditions in terms of infrastructure, facilities to successfully host the sports at the Sea Games. He also affirmed this event would create a great opportunity to promote Quang Ninh’s tourism image to domestic and international visitors.
