Quang Ninh promotes tourism in Korea

On October 31, as part of Quang Ninh’s tourism promotion program, a delegation led by Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism met with tourism authorities and businesses in ROK’s Changwon city and Jeju province.

Quang Ninh delegation visited the factory of Doosan Group - one of the largest and oldest corporations in ROK.

At the meeting with the Tourism Association of Changwon city, leaders of Quang Ninh Department of Tourism gave an introduction about the strength of Quang Ninh’s tourism and a variety of emerging products. The improvement of infrastructure was also highlighted as a good basis for the development of tourism.

The two sides also discussed solutions for further promoting tourism between Changwon and Quang Ninh, operating more charter flights, and opening a direct flight route from Changwon to Van Don International Airport as soon as possible.

The Chairman of Changwon Tourism Association congratulated Quang Ninh’s positive achievements in recent years, especially the time after the Covid-19 pandemic. He also fully agreed on the mutual cooperation between the two localities in the forthcoming time.

Delegates visited the Chrysanthemum Festival.

On the same day, the delegation of Quang Ninh province went to the factory of Doosan Group - one of the largest and oldest corporations in ROK- to visit the Sochu wine production area associated with tourism actitivites right in the factory. They visited the Chrysanthemum Festival, one of the new tourism products in Changwon, and learned how to organize that kind of exciting activity.

As scheduled, the delegation will visit Jeju province on November 1.
