The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a decision on organizing the 31st SEA Games competition with 36 sports in 17 days, from late November to early December, 2021. Quang Ninh province will officially host 6 sports at this event.
According to Decision No.1968/ QQD-BVHTT&DL dated July 13, 2020, Quang Ninh will host 6 sports including women’s football to be held at Cam Pha stadium in Cam Pha city, beach volleyball, beach handball at Tuan Chau Beach resort Co.Ltd in Tuan Chau ward, Ha Long city, indoor volleyball, chess, Chinese chess at the 5,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Dai Yen ward, Ha Long city and other locations in Quang Ninh.
Over years, Quang Ninh was chosen as venue of international sport events. Hosting 6 sports at the 31st SEA Games once again affirms Quang Ninh’s prestigious position and important responsibility, contributing to the success of the 31st SEA Games.
