On June 18, in Ha Long city, a ceremony was solemnly held by Quang Ninh Newspaper and Quang Ninh Radio-Television to receive the Emulation Flag by the Government on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of Vietnam Press Revolution Day 21-6 ( 1925-2012). Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, leader of the Provincial Party has attended the ceremony.
Mr. Hoang Chi Dung, Deputy Editor of the Quang Ninh Newspaper has reported that the Newspaper has recently made renovations and outstanding development in order to promptly provide up-date information of the State, Party and province’s guidelines and policies to all the working-class people. With its excellent achievements, Quang Ninh Newspaper was honorably granted with the Government’s Emulation Flag as a leading one in the emulation movement in 2011.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh has acknowledged and highly appreciated achievements that Quang Ninh Newspaper has made in recent years as well as its contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. He also directed leaders and reporters of Quang Ninh Newspaper that these achievements should be multiplied and promoted in the future in order to inform the readers with the guidlines, policies of the State and the Party. He stressed that, Quang Ninh Newspaper needs to center on propagating the conclusions of the 3rd & 5th Central Congresses, the Central Resolution 4 & 5 as well as some other key tasks in the upcoming time, of which the Newspaper needs to propagate the economic development orientation of the province.
On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council attended a ceremony held by Quang Ninh Television Broadcast Station to grant the emulation flag on behalf of the Government
Continuing its role as one of the most important media unit, Quang Ninh Television and Broadcast Station in the first 6 months of the year has always followed up the orientation of the State and province to implement all the propaganda activities, continuously renovate and improve the qualify of all the broadcasting programs, hosting a wide number of national and international events, such as the Vietnam-China Friendship Singing contest, etc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long has acknowledged the efforts that all the leaders, reporters and editors of the QN Television and Broadcast Station have recently made. He also requested that they need to speed up, diversify the transmission ways and expand the impacts of Media at not only provincial level but also national and international scale, aiming at boosting Quang Ninh and Ha Long Bay’s image to the world.
On this occasion, being authorized by the PM, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long granted the Quang Ninh Television and Broadcast Station with Emulation Flag of the Government. The Director of the Station Nguyen Manh Hung has granted certificates of merits at provincial level to 6 reporters who have excellent achievements in 3 years of 2009, 2010 and 2012.
