On Jan 21st, Quang Ninh issued Plan No. 06/KH-BCĐ to respond to the risk of the spread of new coronavirus and minimize the rate of infection and mortalities.
The plan mentions three scenarios. In the first scenario, there is no infected case recorded in Quang Ninh. The province should early detect acute pneumonia patients caught by the new coronavirus from the epidemic area.
In the 2nd scenario, Quang Ninh confirms some cases. The province needs to isolate the infected areas and promptly deal with the disease in order to contain the outbreak spread.
In the last scenario, the Wuhan-born disease breaks out. Quang Ninh must quickly isolate the infected areas and contain the outbreak.
Quang Ninh’s Department of Health is responsible for providing consultancy for the Provincial People’s Committee on new coronavirus prevention and control in line with the Ministry of Health’s guidance.
Departments of Education and Training, Agriculture and Rural Development, Information and Communication, Trade and Industry… have to work with the Department of Health to enhance preventive measures against new coronavirus according to the plan.
