On Dec 21, Quang Ninh Fatherland Front’s leaders visited the Archbishop Headquarter of Hai Phong and parishes in Quang Ninh on the occasion of Christmas.
The Diocese of Hai Phong consists of 6 deaneries and 92 parishes, including Mao Khe Deanery (7 parishes) and Hon Gai Deanery (7 parishes) located in Quang Ninh. The diocese is managed by Archbishop Giuse Vu Van Thien.
At the headquarter, Vice-chairman of Quang Ninh Fatherland Front Committee, Hoang Duc Hanh, wished bishops, priests, and catholic followers in the Diocese of Hai Phong health, peace, and a joyful Christmas.
After his visit to the Archbishop Headquarter of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh Fatherland Front’s leaders paid visits to parishes in Quang Ninh. They affirmed great contribution made by local Catholic community to provincial socio-economic development over years. They also recommended bishops, priests, and catholic people to continue responding to emulation movements, thus building strong national great unity.
