To be able to respond to pandemic situation at level 5 in case of overloaded patient beds may occur at medical units, Quang Ninh decided to establish the field hospital for treating Covid-19 patients.
Accordingly, the field hospital No.3 is located at the headquaters of Ha Long General Hospital in Hoanh Bo ward, Ha Long city, including 4 five-storey buildings with 10 rooms for each floor and about 350 patient beds.
The field hospital No.3 is responsible for screening, collecting, isolating and treating suspected cases and other cases outside the medical units while ensuring security, order, safety, allowances for patients, medical staff at the hospital. The hospital also conducts training courses on medical examination and treatment, especially Covid-19 prevention and control for its employees.
