On July 20, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and Da Nang city co-held Quang Ninh – Da Nang tourism promotion program 2020 and signed a memorandum on tourism development cooperation between the two localities.
At the working session, the two sides signed the memorandum on tourism development coperation between Quang Ninh province and Da Nang city, focusing on improving the efficiency of regional linkage in tourism development, promoting potential and strengths for tourism resources, boosting cooperation in building new tourism services and products, thus creating a new impetus for sustainable tourism development.
Accordingly, the two localities unanimously agreed to implement contents for tourism development in the period of 2020 - 2021, including promoting and developing domestic markets, reoperating and maintaining flight routes at Van Don international airport (in Quang Ninh province) and Da Nang international airport (in Da Nang city), promoting cooperation in cruise tourism, developing international markets, coordinating in state management, directing functional agencies to build and annouce an annual tourism promotion program between the two localities.
