On August 27, the 20th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2026) officially opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. Quang Ninh participated in the event with a tourism promotion space under the theme “Quang Ninh – One Journey, Two World Heritage Sites,” showcasing the province’s outstanding natural and cultural values, as well as its distinctive tourism products.
The Quang Ninh tourism booth was designed in a modern style, creating a strong visual impression while highlighting the distinctive natural and cultural beauty of a land home to two World Heritage Sites. Through VR 360 virtual reality technology, visitors and partners had the opportunity to experience immersive images of the province’s iconic destinations, including Ha Long Bay, sacred Yen Tu Mountain and the island paradise of Co To. They also had access to the latest promotional materials, publications and video clips introducing Quang Ninh’s tourism potential and strengths, distinctive year-round tourism products, and opportunities for tourism investment and cooperation in the province. In addition to activities at the booth, the Quang Ninh delegation also participated in events held as part of ITE HCMC 2026, including the opening ceremony, Vietnam Night, the High-Level Tourism Forum and a series of thematic seminars.
