With the aim of strengthening the supervision of the entire population's health to early detect pathogens in the community, the health sector of Quang Ninh has coordinated with localities to deploy health declaration in the whole province.
To date, 90% of the works have been completed. The localities are still reviewing and screening citizens’ health, making statistics, guiding self-isolated cases with epidemiological factors, and taking samples in line with regulations. To proactively protect the elderly’s health with chronic underlying diseases, the health sector has made a list of 62,139 people for medical examination and consultancy on epidemic prevention at home. Cases with signs of acute respiratory disease in the community, including those without epidemiological factors, are also recommended to immediately report to the nearest medical units for screening and testing for Sars-CoV-2 virus.
