According to the latest list of the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Quang Ninh officially has 14 cultivation areas and 3 packaging facilities granted Chinese codes eligible for export to this market.
Specifically, there are 7 litchee growing areas in Dong Trieu and Uong Bi; 4 dragon fruit growing areas in Mong Cai and Uong Bi; 3 longan growing areas in Dong Trieu; 3 packing facilities in Mong Cai and Uong Bi. These are all plantation areas and facilities that have been granted planting area codes and packing codes in accordance with Chinese regulations.
In the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development continues to coordinate with localities to direct cultivation areas to produce in line with the VietGAP process, promote linkages in production, processing and consumption of agricultural products, and strengthen supervision activities for food safety, ensuring sustainable export.
