On November 28, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee (QNPPC) Dang Huy Hau had a meeting with Kitahara Medical Group (Japan) led by its chairman, Dr. Shigemi Kitahara, on the occasion of their working visit to Quang Ninh to seek for investment opportunities in the province.
Receiving the guests, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Dang Huy Hau congratulated the Kitahara Group on their seccess in the field of health, and then introduced to the delegationabout Quang Ninh’s achievements in socio-economic development as well as its policies for investment and health development over the years.
The Standing Vice Chairman of QNPPC assigned the Department of Health to support Kitahara Medical Group in their surveys in Quang Ninh so that they could propose the cooperation possibilities in the coming time.
In turn, Chairman of Kitahara Medical Group - Dr. Shigemi Kitahara briefly introduced about the Group's organization in Japan, including 4 major health facilities, namely: Kitahara General Clinic, Kitahara Imaging Center, Kitahara International Hospital and Kitahara Rehabilitation Hospital.
Kitahara Medical Group is an intensive center for neurosurgery and rehabilitation due to postoperative neurological consequences or severe neurological diseases. The Group has successfully implemented rehabilitation projects in Cambodia. In Vietnam, they had signed a memorandum of cooperation with Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital in 2017. In the near future, they plan to seek for cooperation opportunities in the areas of neurology and rehabilitation with hospitals in Vietnam.
