On July 27, at Tuan Chau International Marina, enterprises under Quang Ninh Enterprise Association held a ribbon cutting ceremony to put 3 new tourist boats into operation.
These are the first hourly tourist boats which are built to replace some oldboats operating on Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay in line with Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee’s Document 6588/UBND-XD2 dated September 12, 2019.
Each boat can accommodates 99 travelers a trip in maximum, up by 51 people in comparison to the old design. It is 31.5 m in length and 7.4 m in width, 1.5-2 times bigger than the old ones.
The new boats mark Quang Ninh tourism sector’s efforts in improving its products and services, contributing to building Ha Long as a safe, friendly, and appealing destination.
