On Feb. 20, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh along with representatives of the relevant departments had a coutersy meeting with a delegation of Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) led by Youngjong Jeong- Director of Investment and Planning Division.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh said that Quang Ninh is focusing on developing Van Don Economic Zone into a special economic zone with special incentives. He hoped that IFEZ’s experts would share with Quang Ninh their advicess and sugesstions for building economic zone model in order to effectively promote Quang Ninh’s potentials and advantages as well as to successfully develop Van Don special economic zone.
Thanh also hoped that the two sides would sign specific cooperation agreement at earliest convinience so as to boost the relationship between the two countries in general as well as between Van Don Economic Zone (Quang Ninh) and Incheon Free Economic Zone ( Korea) in particular.
