Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked the Ministry of Health to hold a conference with experts and scientists within December 2021 to discuss measures to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases and fatalities.
The request was made in a document issued by the Government Office on December 14.
In a separate document, the Prime Minister asked the Minister of Health to direct measures towards accelerating the COVID-19 vaccination programme; and to report on the quantity of vaccines received in December and the plan to allow the use of social resources to purchase COVID-19 treatment drugs.
