Coming to Phat Chi Village, almost tourists visit A Dao Homstay in the center of the hamlet where they can see Quang Nam Chau mountain range at the altitude of 1,507 m above sea level. The tourists staying at the A Dao Homestay will enjoy the dishes prepared by the Dao ethnic people and directly see the way in which they make noodles and grind rice by the mills. It is an unforgettable experience for the visitors when tasting the sliced dried radish with the local pork. That’s the reason why many tourists buy the special radishes as gifts for their relatives.

Currently, Phat Chi radishes are sold at One commune One product (OCOP) fairs, festivals and other fairs in Quang Ninh Province by the Green Development Cooperative in Binh Lieu District. In Phat Chi Village, there are 39 households planting radish on an area of around 1 ha, yielding 40 tons of radish annually.

Mr Duong A Tai, one of the farmers growing many radishes in Phat Chi village, said that the Phat Chi radishes grown on high hills in loose soils which are moistened with dew have a typical white color, different from radishes grown in other lands. The Phat Chi fresh radish, dried sliced radish or salted radish has its own flavor. In fact, the dried radish is very easy to process and is favored by many tourists.
