Party, State leaders pay tribute to fallen soldiers on Dien Bien Phu Battlefield

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with incumbent and former Party and State leaders, on the morning of May 7, offered incense at the temple dedicated to fallen soldiers on the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024).

A delegation of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the State President, the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and Dien Bien Province, led by PM Pham Minh Chinh, paid tribute to fallen soldiers ahead of the grand parade this morning.

The Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7, 1954, is a brilliant milestone in Vietnamese history, which has become a symbol of revolutionary heroism, the inheritance and promotion of the glorious historical tradition of thousands of years of building and defending the nation.

Thousands of Vietnamese people heroically fought and sacrificed their lives on the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield for the independence and freedom of the nation.
