According to the evaluation released by Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh tourism is stable over the first six months of 2012.
The total tourist arrivals reach over 4.26 million, seeing a great rise of 12%,of which, the international tourist arrival is more than 1.2 million, up 8%. The total revenue reached VND 2.225 billion, up 10% over the same period last year.
Only in June, 2012, the total tourist arrival is 725,000, of which the international arrival was 163,000. The total tourism revenue gained 422,8 billion. Notably, overnight-stay tourists are 315,000.
