According to the latest report from the national Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Quang Ninh officially has more four aquatic enterprises eligible to export to Chinese market.
Accordingly, the total number of aquatic enterprises eligible to export to the Chinese market is 9. It is known that China’s tightening of border trade and quality control has led a sharp decline in aquatic export in the first months of 2019. However, thanks to the participation of relevant agencies and efforts of enterprises, in 2019, the value of official trade form for seafood export reached 75 mil.USD, a 20% year on year increase meanwhile the value of seafood export through border gained 51 mil.USD, equal to 100.6% over the same period.
