On Dec. 14, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee, cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky chaired a meeting to review the plan on organizing activities welcoming the lunar new year 2020.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee reported on the plan on organizing activities to welcome the Lunar New year 2020 and celebrating the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Accordingly, a wide range of cultural, sports and entertainment activities will be held before, during and after the traditional Tet holiday. Of which, there will be 9 pre-Tet activities; and 8 during Tet and post-Tet ones.
In addition to those activities, by Jan. 17, 2020, Quang Ninh's leaders will visit and present gifts and allowances to social policy beneficiaries and national contributors who are living in remote areas.
Secretary Nguyen Xuan Kyalso asked all the functional authorities to do their best to ensure the best services and products for tourists. Press agencies are urged to enhance their propaganda activities to disseminate to the people about the resultsand achievements of Quang Ninh in itsconstruction and development process on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Communist Party.
