In the framework of the 1st Press Festival of Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG), 2019, in the morning of Oct. 5th, Quang Ninh Media Group in coordination with Ha Long City People’s Committee and Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union held a ceremony in response to the campaign called “Joining hands to fight plastic waste”.
The event attracted the participation of Quang Ninh journalists, a great number of students and locals. Leaders of QMG and Ha Long City called on all people to join hands to prevent environmental pollution by limiting single-use plastic products, nylon bags and replacing them with other environmentally friendly products.
Via the press works, the journalists hoped to increase the community’s awareness of environmental protection and preservation of the Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage and Wonder. Also at the event, the journalists visited Quang Ninh Museum, Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center.
