Hanoi Tourism Festival 2023 to include numerous interesting activities

The Hanoi People’s Committee has just issued Plan 51/KH-UBND organizing Hanoi Tourism Festival 2023, scheduled to take place from March 24 to 26, 2023, at Ba Kieu Temple area, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Bat Giac House, Le Thach Street, Hoan Kiem District.

Hanoi Tourism Festival 2023, themed “Connecting heritage for tourism development”, is organized to promote cultural exchange activities and honor cultural heritages, promote tourism between domestic and international cities and provinces, thereby attracting more domestic and international tourists to the capital.

The annual event is organized on a large scale, encouraging local people to explore Hanoi’s attractive destinations such as: Hanoi’s Old Quarter, ancient villages. Duong Lam, Ba Vi National Park, and Bat Trang pottery village.

In addition, the festival will introduce the unique values of Hanoi’s craft villages and cuisine; and cultural heritages connecting Hanoi and other provinces of Thua Thien - Hue, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh.

It will include common spaces, pavilions of provinces and cities, tourism stalls, culinary spaces and craft villages. The common space includes the design of 2D and 3D miniatures introducing the city’s tourist destinations, heritage images of localities, and check-in points for visitors in the area in front of the Cam Tu monument (Ba Kieu Temple) and Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thach, and Bat Giac streets.

Pavilions of provinces and cities will be installed on Dinh Tien Hoang Street. In addition, this area also has booths of international travel agencies to introduce tourist destinations of other countries and promote international tourism activities.

The organizers will arrange booths and tourist counters to introduce tours, travel combos, hotels, and air tickets at Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Thach streets. The Hanoi culinary and craft villages space will introduce a number of typical craft village products, dishes and specialties of the capital.
