A hand-over ceremony of 2 express boats to Havaco JSC. was held on May 13 at Ship-building Co. 189 under the Ministry of National Defence, ready to serve Tuan Chau - Co To and Van Don – Co To tourism routes.
They are 2 out of 3 first express boats received in 2020 under the order of Havaco Co. These are the first 5-star standard express boats using the most modern and advanced technology, designed according to European standards, with a wheelbase of 33.68 meters, a width of 9.6 meters and a capacity of 300 passengers.
These express boats use dynamic equipment of Rolls Royce engine brand name. Especially, the 18-seat VIP compartment is exceptionally designed with unique entertainment screen, wireless audio system and other entertainment items for passengers.
As estimated, the express boats will be officially put into operation on May 24, taking two hours to travel from Tuan Chau to Co To with the ticket price from 390,000 – 600,000 VND and fifty minutes from Van Don to Co To with the ticket price from 350,000 – 500,000 VND. As planned, the 3rd express boat would be handed over to the investor in late June, 2020. These express boats are among new and attractive tourism products, satisfying tourists’ increasing demands.
