Ha Long - the most searched keyword on CocCoc in 2nd quarter

Ha Long became the most searched keyword on the Internet search engine of Coc Coc, according to this company’s report on notable search trends among Vietnamese people in the second quarter of this year.

The report revealed that the number of searches on Vietnam’s tourism and aviation sectors increased sharply.

The keyword “Ha Long” accounted for 59% of total searches on domestic tourism, followed by Phu Quy island (33%), Phu Quoc island (27%) and Da Nang (22%).

This positive result reflects the attraction of Ha Long tourism in particular and Quang Ninh in general in recent months, especially during the peak tourist season of summer 2022.

Quang Ninh has seen an increase in the number of travelers since its tourism sector completely reopened on March 15. Various measures have been applied to promote its tourism with the image of a safe, friendly, attractive destination where best conditions are provided to visitors to the locality.

Notably, the number of tourists to Quang Ninh tends to sharply increase every weekend. Over 130,000 visitors visited a variety of attractions across the province last weekend, August 6-7. In addition to natural advantages, alluring tourism products, weekend cultural and musical events also act as contributory factors attracting tourists to Quang Ninh.
