Ha Long reopens public beaches and sports activities
Ha Long authorities decided to resume the operation of sport clubs, gyms, billiards, yoga and fitness facilities, and the organization of activities in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival as a move towards a return to normal life in a new situation.
Ha Long city has so far offered free Covid-19 vaccine doses to an estimated 90% of its population aged 18 and over (who are eligble to be vaccinated)and a series of Covid-19 prevention measures have been effective implemented.
Therefore, sport clubs, gyms, billiards, yoga and fitness facilities have been allowed to reopen since 12am on September 19. Activities in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival are permitted to take place as well.
People are still requested to strictly follow COVID-19 prevention and control measures, particularly the Ministry of Health’s 5K message of khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declarations).
People’s Committees of communes and wards in the city are asked to enhance inspection of the implementation of pandemic prevention and control measures in order to detect and handle any violations.
