On Feb. 21, Ha Long City People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch a tree-planting festival on the occasion of Lunar New Year of 2013 at Clock Post and Lan Be central park in the presence of the Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Chinh.
The event was coincided with the opening of Clock Post Lan Be central park, bringing exciting atmosphere to the local people.
At the launching ceremony, nearly 200 trees have been planted at the Clock Post - Lan Be Central Park. Leaders of Ha Long City People’s Committee has called for support from all levels, departments, enterprises as well as local people to respond to the tree-planting movement to protect the environment , contributing to a beautiful, clean and green Ha Long city .
