The campaign to vote for the world heritage Hạ Long Bay as a new natural wonder of the world will be launched in the framework of Việt Nam Tourism and Culture Week held in Pusan (Korea) from August 25-29, according to the International Cooperation Department (under the Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism).
The tourism and culture week is very important to promote tourism and culture exchanges and cooperation between two countries.
This event is held by Department of International Cooperation and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is regarded as cultural exchanges to strengthen introducing Việt Nam culture to the Korea people and communities of Viet Nam in South Korea.
Earlier, the Viet Nam tourism and culture week also held very successful in Ha Noi as well as in Korea in 2007, 2009 with many exciting activities
Viet Nam tourism and culture week this year will include major activities: conference for promotion Việt Nam tourism in Korea to introduce tourism potential of Việt Nam, launched Vietnamese tourism market in Korea, mobilize to vote Ha Long Bay and Jeju Island in Korea as world new natural wonders.
The official declaration of the New 7 Wonders of the World will be made on November 11, 2011. Thus, Việt Nam in general and Quảng Ninh province in particular have intensified the promoting campaign to collect votes for Hạ Long Bay to be recognised as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World across the country and abroad.
