On March 26, in Ha Long city, Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Vu Hong Thanh welcomed Portuguese Communist Party delegation led by Pedro Guerreiro, head of its international department.
Mr. Vu Hong Thanh, Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee, expressed his hope this visit would boost bilateral relations between Viet Nam and Portugal in general and between Portuguese and Quang Ninh in particular.
Guerreirocongratulated Quang Ninh on their possitive achievements. He assured that his party would contribute to the development of ties between the two sides.
As scheduled, the delegation will visit Halong Bay tommorow, March 27.
