On Mar. 1, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Pham Minh Chinh had a coutersy meeting with a high-ranking delegation of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia led by Mr. Sidarto Danusubroto, the Assembly’s Chairman on the occasion of his working visit to Quang Ninh.
Secretary Chinh lauded the delegation’s visit to the province. He made a brief introduction about socio-economic development of Quang Ninh and its potential and advantages. He hoped that the cooperation tie in tourism development and heritage management between the two sides would be enhanced, contributing to develop the relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia in a positive and effective way.
For his part, Mr. Sidarto Danusubroto said that he was very impressed by Quang Ninh economic growth. He also wished that the friendship of the two sides would be further developed in the future.
In the framework of the visit in Quang Ninh, the delegation of People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia visited the World Heritage Ha Long Bay on March. 2nd.
