On June 7, a delegation of Hainan Provincial Federation of Trade Union headed by Wang Ying Qi, vice-president of the Federation paid a visit to Quang Ninh. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of Home Affairs Department; Planning and Investment Department; and Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) received and worked with the delegation.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh has briefly introduced to the delegation about Quang Ninh’s geography, socio-economic situation and its potentials to develop tourism and services. He wished that Quang Ninh and Hainan provinces will continue propaganda activities so that the local people of the two sides keep the border in peace, friendship, cooperation contributing to the tight relation between China and Vietnam. Minh at the meeting also called for foreign investors, particularly the Chinese ones to invest in Quang Ninh.
Speaking at the meeting, Wang Ying Qi expressed his pleasure to be cordially received by the province. He confirmed the good traditional tie between Vietnam and China in general and Hainan-Quang Nnh in particular. He briefed a snapshot covering Hainan’s socio-economic development. Accordingly, Hainan, besides its famous natural landscapes, it has many advantages in terms of minerals exploitation, tourism, services and commerce.
In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited Ha Long Bay.
