In the framework of the Vietnam-China International Tourism and Trade Fair 2019, a forum on promoting tourism development and attract investment in connecting the "two countries-5 cities" route was held on December 2, in Mong Cai City.
With the theme of "Expanding cooperation - Sustainable development", the forum focused on evaluating both advantages and difficulties in expanding tourism development cooperation in recent years.
Participants discussed in details about "two countries-5 cities" route and proposed solutions to effectively develop the routes, in which focusing on setting up and connecting new tourism routes; improving the quality of tourism service; drawing a tourism promotion strategy on a large scale, and enhancestate management of tourism. Besides, a solution to stabilize travel activities through Mong Cai-Dongxing border gate in order to build a friendly, hospitable, safe and reliable Quang Ninh and Guangxi tourism images was also one of the highlights of the discussion.
The forum witnessed the signing ceremony of a MoU on tourism cooperation in developing the routes linking the two countries and 5 cities including Ha Long, Mong Cai (Vietnam) - Dongxing, Quilin, Man Zhouli (China). In addition, the customer exchange contract between Vietnam's Quang Ninh and China's Guangxi provinces were inked at the end of the forum.
