On Jan. 23, the People’s District of Hai Ha (Quang Ninh province, Vietnam) and Fangcheng District (Fangchenggang city, China) jointly organized a working session to discuss the greater cooperation in field of commerce and services through the two border gates of Bac Phong Sinh (Vietnam) and Lihou (China).
At the session, the two sides entered into in-depth discussions and finally agreed to together implement a number projects including building a factory of packaging goods produced in the third country in the district of Hai Ha, launching the project of a concrete bridge across the border gates of Bac Phong Sinh and Lihou and opening the tourism route between Fangchenggang and Hai Hai district.
Moreover, Hai Ha district also suggested changing the duration of customs clearance at the two border gates from 5 days to 7 days per week.
On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet), the working delegates of Fanchenggang city presented gifts and sent best wishes to the Party Committee, local governments and people of all ethnic groups living and working in Hai Ha district.
