On July 6, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh had a coutersy meeting with Mr. Sha shi Kant Sharma, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, and his delegation on the occasion of his visit to Halong Bay.
At the reception, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation to the province, and briefed some information about Quang Ninh's potential and advantages in the socio-economic development.
He informed that, in recent years, Quang Ninh province always receives support and guidance from the State Audit of Vietnam in the areas of finance and using public properties. He also hoped to welcome back Mr. Sha shi Kant Sharma to Quang Ninh to further inform him about Quang Ninh's landscape and people.
For his part, Mr. Sha shi Kant Sharma sincerly thanked Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman for his warm reception. He strongly affirmed that his counterparts and himself will promote Halong Bay's beauty and outstanding values to the Indian people, thus they could come to visit and have chance to explore investments opportunities in Quang Ninh.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Halong Bay, and then left Quang Ninh to continue their working visit in Vietnam.
