In the framework of the working visit in the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, the Quang Ninh delegation headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Doc, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, chairman of QNPPC visited and had a meeting with leaders of Xaignabouri province.
On behalf of Xaignabouri Provincial Party Committee, local authority and People, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr. Lienthykeo and Deputy Secretary – Mr. Khamsuctho as well as representatives of provincial departments and enterprises have warmly welcomed the delegation.
In the afternoon of the same day, leaders of the two sides had a talk and signed a cooperation agreement. Mr. Ta Minh Chau- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Laos attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the talk, Mr Nguyen Van Doc highly appreciated the Saynhabuly province’s leaders and people for their success in overcoming difficulties during the development. Through this visit, Mr. chairman of the QNPPC wished to cement the friendship and cooperation between the two provinces in order to share experiences with each other, contributing to further develop the relationship between the two countries in general and two provinces in particular.
He also forwarded the official invitation from Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee – Mr. Pham Minh Chinh to Secretary of Xaignabouri Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Lienthykeo to visit Quang Ninh.
To close the meeting, leaders of the two provinces have signed a friendly cooperation agreement. Accordingly, the two provinces will focus on cooperation in some areas, such as trade, culture, education, tourism, human resource development, radio and television. In addition, enterprises of the two provinces will be provided with favourable conditions in their investment and cooperation activities.
On this occasion, QNPPC has presented the Xaignabouri province a donation of VND 5 billion to build a boarding school.
