On May 4, in Ha Long city, the Tuan Chau – Ha Long 2017 Asian Beach Volleyball Championship officially kicked start at Tuan Chau resort island.
The tournament, which was jointly held by Vietnam Valleyball Federation, Quang Ninh Culture-Sports Department and Au Lac Limited Company draws the participation of 23 teams from 14 countries and territories, including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Vanuatu and Vietnam.
This annual event is one of a series of activities of the Quang Ninh- Ha Long Tourism Week 2017 aiming at promoting Quang Ninh's land and people, to international friends and tourists.
The tournament wraps up on May 7.
